Welcome to a unique weekend in the mountains of Norway, exploring spiritual permaculture!
Spiritual permaculture integrates ecological design with inner, ethical, and spiritual growth, with reverence for the land as a the sacred, living Mother Earth.
It merges permaculture’s ethics and principles of thinking like nature - with deep ecology - the shift from seeing ourselves as separate individuals, to recognising our belonging within the interconnected web of life.
A way to bring all of ourselves - mind, body, heart, and spirit to the co-creation of a fair and regenerative world, whilst living our unique purpose.
Permaculture calls us to embody the ethics of Earth care, people care and fair share - cultivating more compassionate and conscious living.
As a spiritual practice, permaculture brings us into deep connection with the Earth, an empowering re-membering of interconnection. A path where we contribute to healing the Earth and also a transformative journey of personal growth and purpose.
Many of us feel deeply in response to what is happening in the world. It can be hard to stay present without becoming overwhelmed - or to stay engaged without burning out.
This retreat explores how we stay open-hearted to the world, while feeling grounded, and able to play our unique part. We will use practices from The Work That Reconnects - an experiential approach to personal and social transformation, developed by Joanna Macy.
This is an experiential retreat - we will spend as much time as possible outdoors in the beautiful nature of Dharma Mountain.
The weekend will be held in English and ed by Jen McConachie - a Permaculture Design Course teacher, permaculture diploma holder and Work That Reconnects facilitator.
The program will include:Deep nature connectionWork That Reconnects practices Mindful work in the food forest and permaculture gardensGuided meditation and alone timeCircle, sharing and songYoga, dance and playful movement
