This one-day course is designed for teachers, forest school leaders, early years educators, parents, and anyone passionate about child-led nature-based learning. Gain practical tools, confidence, and ideas to engage children in understanding and caring for the natural world.
Permaculture is about work with nature. Through deep observation, play, and exploration, children can learn how natural systems work and how to live more sustainably.
During this one-day training we will:
🌿 Explore permaculture ethics and principles in education, discovering how they can guide your words, activities, and the spaces you create with children
🌿 Discover the benefits of doing permaculture with children, how it can help many aspects of children's lives from mental health to mathematics
🌿 See gardens designed for and by children - find new ideas for your garden
🌿 Discover a range of activities to do with children which can activate their heart, hand, head and eyes, and explore how your approach can unlock endless possibilities for learning and connection with nature
🌿 Connect with like-minded educators and parents, sharing ideas, experiences, and enthusiasm
