Join one of our  Design to Thrive 12 day PDC courses,  This course is  for anyone looking to apply permaculture design practically at home, in the community, or in professional projects.

Through hands on experience, explore the natural world while delving into the ethics and principles of permaculture. Familiarise yourself with a design framework that can be applied to projects of any scale, whether in your garden, within your community & council, or internationally .

Be empowered to use the  permaculture design framework  to create projects which will bring positive change  to your own life , to communities and  to the natural world

The course invites us to observe nature and its ecological functions, apply ethics and principles and design for positive change

The course combines  discussions, reflective practice, practical activities in nature and real-world project design giving you skills you can put into action.

You can choose to attend an intensive course  which last just over 2 weeks ( see other listings) or this course which runs on 6 weekends throughout the year  April to October

On this course additional support sessions are offered to students at their own convenience throughout the year.

On successful completion, students are awarded a certificate accredited by the Permaculture Association, recognised nationally and globally. The Permaculture Design Course (PDC) also enables students to study a Diploma in Applied Permaculture Design

The Venue and Location: Community Roots CIC , Porthtowan                              Set close to the wild North Cliffs Community Roots  is a vibrant local food hub and an inspiring place to explore the practical application of permaculture design.
