We have another inspiring Community Campfire coming up this April. To kick-off our summer season of soil, we're excited to welcome Pippa Chapman, to begin digging into what lies beneath our feet.
Pippa Chapman is a RHS-trained horticulturalist, permaculture practitioner and educator living in West Yorkshire. She specialises in designing and growing forest gardens with rich, layered ecosystems that produce food while supporting wildlife and building healthy, living soil - a staple in permaculture design. Through her work growing, writing on the ecosystems we use, and teaching on all these topics, Pippa has the experience and knowledge base to share practical ways to create beautiful, productive gardens using principles like polycultures and natural soil regeneration.
In this online Community Campfire, Pippa will explore the vital role of soil as the foundation of any thriving garden. Drawing on her hands-on experience, she’ll offer insights into how we can nurture soil health naturally, improve fertility, and work with ecological processes to grow resilient, abundant systems.
