* Full, certified PDC * Camping with food included * Topics include Growing food, forest gardening, low impact buildings, woodland management, making maps, site visits, design skills, all the core permaculture theory and a design project. * An immersive, off grid experience. *Learn through doing! No-dig veg growing , compost toilets, burning wood cleanly and efficiently for cooking and washing, natural building projects, woodland management and nature connection. * Learn from a fantastic, experienced teaching team with over 20 years experience between them. * Our average feadback score from courses is 9.6/10 ! * Live in the woods for two weeks on an establsihed permaculture site. *2 self build, low impact, off grid cabins on site built with reclaimed and local materials. *Productive pollytunnel and permaculture garden on site. *Fun, informal teaching styles with a mixture of classroom and practical learning, design projects and site visits to established permaculture projects including forest gardens. *2 days off to recharge in the middle of the course and to explore the area with easy bus links into Edinburgh or the beautiful Scottish Borders. * Wild swimming nearby. *Rare upland bog with wild orchids 5 min walk away (Leadburn Community Woodland) *Lower fees if you live locally or have alternative accommodation.
