Permaculture Association

Set on the south end of the Isle of Arran in lush countryside a short distance from the sea, we are a 3 acre small holding specialising in forest gardening. Designed to promote both food growing and wildlife, we incorporate fruit and veg growing, bee keeping, and keeping ducks, geese and chickens. From this we harvest, cook, ferment and preserve food grown on site and foraged locally. Alongside we have an eco-glamping site which incorporates permaculture principles and ideas to promote and inspire guests, including compost toilets, solar power, upcycling, a herb spiral and outdoor kids activities.  We welcome visitors for tours, educational visits or volunteering. Please contact us by email to arrange a visit. (Note if you are travelling to Arran, we pair very well with the other ScotLAND site on Arran, Woodside Farm, a CIC which demonstrates much larger scale food production and which is only a few miles down the road from us).
