Opportunity: I’m looking for a permaculture student or practitioner who would like a real-world garden project to work on.

Site: Large private garden - Here is a video of the property – taken in July 2024 by the estate agent who was selling the house. The garden was fully ornamental when I moved into the property in November 2024. Since that time, I have dismantled fencing, cut down some leyandii and the laurel hedging & cleared out a lot of rubbish

Size: 1.5 acres

I’d love to develop the space using permaculture principles — potentially including:

Wildlife habitat Food forest / perennial crops Vegetable production Water management Low-maintenance design

This could suit:

A PDC student looking for a portfolio project A Diploma student needing a client site Someone wanting practical design experience

I can offer:

Accommodation in the main house, no payment required Cooking facilities in main kitchen A genuinely interesting site with creative freedom Ongoing opportunity to be involved in implementation

I am studying at Dr Elaine Ingham’s Soil Food Web School. I have qualified as a lab tech and can do biology soil assays. I am now training how to make thermophilic compost that grows soil microbes.  So I have a keen interest in supporting the garden project.
