Course summary
This fully accredited market gardening course is delivered over a series of weekends in person to allow both practical and classroom learning, visits from expert speakers and the opportunity to visit other farms in the area.
We will cover:
Plant and soil health Different approaches to growing Irrigation and water management Pests and diseases Propagation Crop planning and harvesting Sources of revenue Business planning Designing your market garden You will be assessed on your own market garden design and business plan, meaning you can step away from this course ready to hit the ground running if that's what you want. This also works for people who want to be more self sufficient and make the most of the growing space available to them.
