Who is this course aimed at?  Have you finished your PDC and want more support to get designing?  Have you started the diploma and stalled or need more support to continue?  Are you a new diploma apprentice who requires a more accessible learning format? 

 

Anyone who has completed a PDC is encouraged to take this course, and it is highly relevant to anyone on the diploma.   Why join this course?  This course will walk you through exactly how to begin designing well, after your Permaculture Design Course, supporting you through 2 complete designs. It will show you how to complete your 2 designs to diploma assessment standard.    If you complete the course and pay for the additional assessment you will receive an OFFICIAL Permaculture Association 2 Design Foundation Diploma Certificate.    In this course, we will support you to:  Apply your permaculture design learning to 2 fully completed designs. Apply a common design approach - SADIMET  'Write up' or record your designs to diploma handbook assessment standard.  Connect with others on the diploma, online and face to face.  Complete your first two diploma level designs if you choose to! Gaining an optional 2 design foundation diploma certificate!  Understand the full 10 design diploma including its costs, in case you choose to continue on your designer's journey.  Avoid getting stuck - this course is accessible, and brings together everything you NEED to know. 

 

To receive the optional 2 design certificate, you will need to pay the usual additional fees for assessment tutorials and diploma membership.

 

It has been built by the Education Working Group and Diploma Working Group in response to feedback about the accessibility of the diploma.
