Our accredited Permaculture Design Course is designed to empower you to create regenerative systems in your own life and community. Covering the full 72-hour PDC syllabus, we will explore permaculture ethics, principles and practices through engaging theory, hands-on practical work, and real-world design experience, sharing many examples of working permaculture systems.
Set within the beautiful surroundings of the Rame Peninsula in Cornwall, the course offers an immersive learning experience across our community garden and community orchard projects, alongside a fully established permaculture garden. As well as gaining practical skills and design knowledge, participants will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in local community life, experiencing permaculture not just as a design system, but as a way of living and relating together. The course can be taken either as a complete Permaculture Design Course from beginning to end, or through individual modules, allowing participants to learn at their own pace and according to their interests and availability. This flexible approach makes the course accessible to those wishing to immerse themselves fully, as well as those wanting to gradually deepen their understanding over time.
All modules and course sessions will be supported by an accompanying online learning platform, giving participants the opportunity to revisit material, explore topics in greater depth, and continue their learning in their own time after each day’s activities. The course will be fully accredited by the Permaculture Association, contributing towards recognised permaculture training and practice.
