This Introduction to Permaculture Design course is ideal for anyone wanting to understand how to work with nature to create more resilient gardens, farms, homes, and communities. Rooted in the real-world experience of a working permaculture farm, this course blends inspiring theory with practical application. Upon completion of the course you will be issued with a certificate accredited by the Permaculture Association showcasing you have completed your introduction to permaculture.

Gain a deep understanding of the ethics and principles of permaculture using Henbant Permaculture Farm as a working case study
Designing with nature: using natural patterns and systems to create productive and efficient gardens, farms, communities and more.
Holistic Context & Systems Thinking: explore the importance of defining your values, goals, and long-term vision to guide decision-making at every scale.
Group exercises: Take part in collaborative exercises to develop practical design skills and confidence in applying what you learn.

Matt Swarbrick is a regenerative farmer and co-founder of Henbant Permaculture Farm in North Wales. What if I can only come by public transport? We can arrange transport to pick you up from Bangor or Porthmadog train stations
